As Venus gets ready to enter its own sign of Taurus on May the 4th, it is fitting to say that it will bring renewal to life just as our mid spring season is doing. This is a time when trees bud and flowers begin to bloom. Venus in Taurus will keep our hopes alive as no matter what occurs around us, this resurgence can always maintain our positivity.
So, let us all keep upbeat!
In our April newsletter which was titled “The doors begin to open” could now be see as being quite the opposite where more restrictions occurred in our already restrictive world.
However, there were openings going on in other parts of the world such as the massive rally in London UK where over a half million people showed up to march for our freedoms and human rights.
No matter how you may have seen or felt, the increased lockdowns that have occurred (once again!) in certain areas of. the world (particularly Canada) during the month of April have opened more awareness regarding governmental dictatorships, police force included. An awakening is going on!
What can we expect for the month of May?
The planet Mars is now in the sign of Gemini and while it is in the middle part of this sign, it has entered the nakshatra (constellation) of Ardra, which is one of the more difficult constellations for planets to be located in.
Every sign is connected to at least two constellations and sometimes it may be three.
Mars in Ardra will enhance reactions to policies and to opinions that are one-sided.
It can certainly enhance anger and possible violence; expect much opposition this month to these ongoing harsh lockdowns.
However there might be more behind the scenes that need to be investigated such as to what is presently occurring in India.
The shadow side of Ardra is the potential abuse of power.
Ardra’s actions can cause torment or pain to others.
A proud egoic or violent nature may occur due to Ardra’s influence.
A critical and complaining attitude may also be present.
Though the planets are all moving in direct motion for most of May which is always a blessing, we will nevertheless be challenged (yes once again!) during the last week of May as the full lunar eclipse takes place just as Saturn goes into retrograde.
Saturn in retrograde will amplify restrictions bringing about more inflexibility which will keep things relatively stuck for the next 6 months even as “the powers that be” open doors for you. Sad to say but don’t believe for a moment that these doors will remain open.
The eclipse season being upon us once again means that storylines from six months ago (when the last eclipses occurred) get reviewed and possibly completed, or the storyline may continue for at least another six months.
World situations most likely won't get resolved and will continue for at least 6 more months.
How can lies get settled without first having exposure?
What has your personal story been?
Perhaps something in your life came to a head during December 2020 when the last eclipses occurred and now you get to see that you have completed that issue…or perhaps it’s flaring up again.
When checking out a chart we look to see where the eclipses are taking place. Is it in your 4th house, the house signifying your home? Is it in the 7th which is the house of partnership? Or is it mired in your 12th house, the house that signifies losses and letting go of situations you no longer have control of?
In my own chart, I see that the eclipses of December 2020 and the eclipse that will be soon happening occur in my 9th house, the house which represents spiritual endeavours and long journeys.
Will I travel in the next 6 months? My chart does indicate such things.
Mars in the fierce Nakshatra of Ardra will remain in this constellation until the 15th of May so watch and see how the world reacts and always remember to keep your patience in all matter during this time.
You may get over-reactive.
Take some time this month for reflection and review what has taken place for you personally during these last 6 months.
Then decide what your vision board would be for the following 6 months.
You might have to make a stand for your rights and for the rights of others before you can get going with your plans!
